Job Description

A highly skilled professional with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in VMware data centre virtualization and Linux administration (Ubuntu & RHEL) with additional expertise in Windows operations. Familiarity with cloud computing is considered an added advantage.

• Technical expertise and hands-on experience in managing the VMware Datacentre Virtualization

• Technical expertise and hands-on experience in the Linux Operating System (Ubuntu & RHEL), and knowledge in Windows Server Administration is a plus.

• Review existing Linux systems, platforms and impose OS hardening & shell scripting for automation

• Hands-on experience in managing LVM, Multipath, and bonding configurations

• Implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and recommend security changes to the system or system components as needed.

• Design Infrastructure solutions for high availability, resiliency, integrity, and security.

• Ensure all system operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary.

• Knowledge in managing Apache web servers and MySQL databases running on Linux servers.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Directory Services (Active Directory/DNS/DHCP), and SSL Certificates.

Education and Certification

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCP & VCAP)
• Red Hat Certification (RHCE)
• ITIL Certification V4 or relevant experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Entra ID Administrator Associate is a plus
