The Role

Veeva Link’s vision is to build connected data applications that improve research and patient outcomes.
As a Senior Team Lead for one of our Data Operations teams, you will lead a remote team of 50+ freelancers who execute on large-scale data generation pipelines. You will design business processes and drive process improvements as well as technology improvements.
You plan and control these business processes and support their execution by removing barriers for your team members. Your primary focus is to improve process efficiency and reduce defects. As a first-line manager and servant leader, you deliver operational metrics associated with your process and results while keeping your team engaged.
To thrive in your role, you are highly motivated to lead and have a “can do” attitude. You are results-oriented, analytical, organized, and socially skilled. You communicate effectively with leadership, analysts, engineers and researchers.
The ideal candidate for this role has a strong interest in people management, a process-oriented mindset, and an excellent work ethic. Whether you choose to work at home or in one of our offices, you enjoy working with autonomy and in an international environment. We have a great remote working culture where people work hard, have fun, and grow.

What You'll Do

  • Empower and Scale a Large Organization: Confidently lead, mentor, and build a dynamic, proactive, and high-performing remote team with a headcount of 50+
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Take full ownership of your team’s KPIs and its performance, driving measurable results and holding a high bar for success

  • Shape the Technology Landscape: Partner and collaborate closely with the engineering teams to build innovative tooling and scale process automation
  • Proactive Risk Management: Act decisively to identify and escalate all risks and incidents early and unambiguously, ensuring smooth and reliable operations

Requirements

  • Process Architecture Expertise: You possess proven, hands-on knowledge in business process design, management, and optimization to consistently drive efficiency and quality
  • Operational Track Record: You have 3-5 years of dedicated working experience in a relevant operational or data-driven capacity, complementing your broader leadership background
  • Global & Remote Readiness: You are highly comfortable and effective working remotely, thriving autonomously within a diverse and fast-paced international environment
