Corporate tax teams are being asked to do more, faster, and under greater scrutiny than ever—and AI is about to change how the work gets done. Are you a tax professional who wants to decide what that change looks like? As Senior Tax Product Specialist on the ONESOURCE Direct Tax team, you will be the practitioner at the table where our products are designed, built, and tested—making sure what we ship works the way corporate tax departments actually work. (Note: The equivalent industry role is typically a Tax Manager or Tax Director)
You will partner with product, engineering, and data science teams, and with enterprise customers and partners, to shape product content, functionality, and AI-powered capabilities across the corporate income tax lifecycle—from provision and compliance to planning and controversy. Your tax and accounting background is not incidental to this role; it is the foundation. You will bring the judgment of someone who has closed the books, filed the returns, and answered the auditor's questions, and you will use it to make our products accurate, intuitive, and trusted.
This role also carries a mandate to advance AI across ONESOURCE Direct Tax solutions. You will develop, test, and validate how agentic AI and intelligent automation apply to corporate tax workflows, give engineering and data science teams candid, practitioner-grounded feedback, and help define what responsible, high-quality AI looks like in a regulated tax environment.
Thomson Reuters is a global leader in providing trusted information and technology to professionals in law, tax, accounting, compliance, and news. ONESOURCE is our flagship enterprise tax and accounting platform, trusted by the world's largest corporations to manage complex tax obligations across jurisdictions and reporting standards.
Corporate tax is at an inflection point. Data volumes, regulatory complexity, and pressure on lean tax teams are rising, while AI, automation, and modern cloud architecture create the chance to fundamentally reimagine how direct tax gets done. ONESOURCE sits at the core of the corporate tax lifecycle for thousands of companies worldwide, and we are accelerating investment to lead that change. This role is a rare opportunity for an experienced tax professional to move from using the tools to shaping them—and to help ensure that software elevates tax professionals to do their highest-value work.
