Your future contribution

HomeToGo is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to take ownership of key strategic tax topics and drive group-wide tax initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization—including Finance, Legal, Product, and Data—to assess tax implications of business decisions and support the sustainable growth of our international setup. Across a broad range of tax matters, you will help build processes that scale with us, including through AI tools where they add efficiency. We are looking for a candidate, who shows pragmatism, uses their strong communication skills to easily build internal relationships and has a passion to work in a fast-paced environment.

How you’ll add value

• Independently lead and manage high-impact, group-wide tax initiatives

• Drive decision-making on complex international tax issues, including cross-border structuring and risk mitigation

• Provide strategic and operational tax advice to internal stakeholders across departments

• Lead the end-to-end tax reporting and accounting process (IFRS/local GAAP), ensuring high-quality financial statement disclosures and audit readiness.

• Oversee and refine the global transfer pricing strategy and documentation

• Support international tax structuring and cross-border compliance

• Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient, scalable tax processes

• Play an active role in shaping the Tax Function, identifying scalable AI solutions and leveraging them to enhance internal processes

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• Have several years of relevant experience in the tax department of an international company or in a tax advisory firm

• Have passed the German tax advisor exam (Steuerberater/in) – a strong plus

• Possess in-depth knowledge of German and international tax matters

• Possess strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a result-oriented working style

• Demonstrate success in streamlining complex reporting workflows and tax processes.

• Bring a strategic, hands-on, and business-oriented approach to tax

• Communicate effectively in both English and German
