Compensation: $160,000–$220,000 Base + Performance Bonus + Long-Term Leadership Growth

Our client, a nationally recognized consulting, tax, accounting, audit, and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join its growing Tampa office.

The Opportunity

As a Tax Senior Manager, you'll play a key leadership role within the tax practice while serving as a trusted advisor to clients throughout Florida and across the country.

You'll oversee complex tax planning, consulting, compliance, and advisory engagements while working closely with business owners, executives, investors, healthcare organizations, and management teams to help them achieve their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Tax Advisory

• Lead sophisticated tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements
• Develop proactive tax strategies that drive client success and profitability
• Advise clients on entity structuring, ownership transitions, acquisitions, and strategic business decisions
• Provide guidance regarding complex federal, state, and local tax issues
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and ownership groups

Client Relationship Management

• Build and strengthen long-term client relationships
• Deliver exceptional client service and practical business solutions
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and service offerings
• Coordinate tax, advisory, consulting, and accounting services
• Serve as a year-round strategic resource for clients

Leadership & Team Development

• Mentor and develop tax professionals across multiple levels
• Review work product and provide technical guidance
• Help build future managers, senior managers, and practice leaders
• Support recruiting, retention, and staff development efforts
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence

Practice Growth

• Participate in networking and business development initiatives
• Assist with proposals, presentations, and client pursuits
• Build referral relationships and identify growth opportunities
• Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the practice
• Support expansion within the Tampa and Florida markets

Qualifications

Required

• CPA, EA, or comparable professional credential
• 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting, consulting, or corporate tax leadership
• Strong tax planning and advisory experience

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities
