Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior Manager to join their team. We are a well-established New York CPA firm seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Federal Tax practice. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our team and providing strategic tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and review of complex federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.

• Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies to minimize client tax liabilities and maximize their after-tax income.

• Manage a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure efficient project completion and client satisfaction.

• Stay abreast of the latest federal tax laws and regulations through ongoing research and education.

• Represent the firm during client meetings, fostering strong client relationships and building trust.

Required Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in federal tax, with a proven track record of success in managing complex tax issues.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.

• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

• Proficient in tax research methodologies and tax software (Thomson Reuters CS experience a plus).

• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
