Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 Base + Performance Bonus + CPA Support

Location: Westlake, Ohio (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

As a Tax Senior Associate, you'll work closely with managers, directors, and partners while helping clients navigate increasingly complex tax matters and planning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Preparation

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and S-Corporation tax returns
• Analyze financial information and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Develop a strong understanding of tax laws and compliance requirements

Tax Research & Planning

• Conduct tax research and technical analysis
• Assist with tax planning projects and advisory engagements
• Research complex tax issues and communicate findings effectively
• Help identify opportunities to reduce client tax liabilities and improve tax efficiency

Client Service & Advisory

• Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding tax matters
• Support year-round advisory and planning initiatives
• Deliver exceptional responsiveness and client service

Leadership Development

• Supervise and mentor junior tax associates
• Review work and provide constructive feedback
• Lead selected projects and engagement assignments
• Build the leadership skills necessary for future advancement

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of public accounting experience (internship experience considered)
• Strong tax preparation experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
