Senior Tax Analyst – LATAM & APAC:

Responsible for executing and coordinating activities related to tax compliance for Latin American and APAC entities within their scope of responsibility, ensuring the accurate calculation, analysis, documentation, and filing of local and corporate tax obligations. Actively participates in financial close processes, local tax provisions, tax and financial audits, internal controls, transfer pricing, and regional projects, ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations and corporate policies.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist coordinator on tax compliance activities for assigned entities across Latin America and APAC regions.
• Prepare information for tax returns prepared by external advisors or local teams.
• Review corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns, and local tax filings.
• Monitor regional tax calendars and ensure timely compliance with tax obligations.
• Prepare responses to tax authority inquiries, tax audits, electronic reviews, and other governmental actions in the countries under responsibility.
• Monitor tax law changes and identify potential impacts on the organization.
• Validate the proper tax treatment of local, international, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare income tax reconciliations between accounting and tax records.
• Review and maintain tax workpapers.
• Prepare accounting entries with tax implications.
• Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Support the documentation of significant tax positions.

• Prepare supporting documentation required for internal and external financial audits.

• Prepare the information required for tax and financial audits.
• Follow up on requests from tax authorities and regulatory agencies.
• Manage supporting documentation for tax positions and adopted tax treatments.
• Monitor tax contingencies identified by external advisors or auditors.
• Coordinate responses with legal, finance, and external advisory teams.

• Support projects related to international withholding taxes and double taxation treaties.

• Coordinate information with finance, legal, and tax teams across various Latin American and APAC countries.
• Participate in regional and global tax transformation projects.
• Collaborate on corporate initiatives related to compliance, controls, and tax efficiency.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).

• 3 years of experience in corporate taxation.
• Experience in multinational companies and/or tax consulting firms.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Corporate taxation.
• Domestic and international withholding taxes.
• Tax audits.
• Responding to tax authority inquiries.
• Intercompany transactions.

• Corporate taxation across Latin America.
• Double taxation treaties.
• International withholding taxes.
• Tax and accounting reconciliations.
• SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, large-scale reconciliations, and data analysis).
• Proficiency with English
