A Taste of What You'll Do

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play an important role in developing, implementing, and maintaining tax systems and processes. You will prepare tax returns, reports, refund claims, and supporting records while contributing to the preparation of the Tax Provision in accordance with FASB 109.

You will partner with internal teams and tax authorities to respond to inquiries and support audits. You will also conduct tax research, prepare statistical and financial reports, and help implement approved tax strategies that support the organization’s objectives.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of Tax or Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of Gallo Tax or Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of public accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Computer skills requirements include: basic MS Word; intermediate MS Excel.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

• MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting plus 5 years of tax or accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting concentration) plus 8 years of tax or accounting experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility. CPA license. Big 4 Tax or Accounting experience.
• CCH Income Tax Software. OneSource (Tax Stream) Provision Software. SAP General Ledger System. RIA/BNA Online Research Software.
• Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
• Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Skilled in applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Skilled in performing work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality and ingenuity. Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this field of specialization.

The Fine Print

• The Company does not sponsor for employment-based visas for this position now or in the future.
• We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
• This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting with an option for occasional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
