Meaningful Work From Day One

Support the accurate and timely compliance with Indian tax laws, including both direct (Income Tax, TDS) and indirect taxes (GST etc), while optimizing tax planning strategies and supporting internal and external audits.

What You Can Expect

  • Responsible for the overall taxation compliances of our IMEA Area territories making sure our books comply with local statutory requirements.

  • Improve accounting process efficiency and effectiveness where there are opportunities.

  • Direct Taxation:

    • Manage computation, payment, and filing of corporate income tax and advance tax including validation of our tax consultant.

    • Handle TDS compliance including deduction, deposit, and filing of returns.

    • Manage tax assessments, appeals, and liaise with tax authorities.

    • Conduct deferred tax calculations and effective tax rate analysis.

    • Coordinate Transfer Price statements and related reports.

    • Review intercompany agreements and analyze transactions for tax implications.

    • Handle tax audits, scrutiny assessments and appeals.

    • Oversee TCS compliance, encompassing tax payments, return filings, and certificate issuance.

    • Manage Pillar Two regulatory compliance obligations.

    • Coordinate Transfer Pricing compliance through accurate regulatory filings and processing of return mark-up rebate postings in our books.

  • Indirect Taxation (GST):

    • Ensure monthly and annual GST compliance including return filing and reconciliation.

    • Coordinate with external consultants for GST filings and responses to notices.

    • Manage input tax credit optimization.

    • Monitor changes in GST laws and assess their impact on business operations.

    • Assist in tax-related accounting entries and statutory audits.

  • Indirect Taxation (VAT & Excise):

    • Ensure monthly and annual VAT compliance including return filing and reconciliation.

    • Coordinate with external consultants for VAT filings and responses to notices.

    • Tracking and managing the compliances of Form C, F & I.

    • Ensure compliance with State Excise Laws applicable to the manufacture, storage and distribution of alcoholic beverages.

    • Monitor and manage excise duty payments, documentation and audits.

    • Manage and guarantee the timely execution of all customs-related payment compliances.

  • General Tax Advisory & Planning:

    • Provide expert advice on tax planning and optimization opportunities.

    • Evaluate business proposals from a tax compliance perspective.

    • Maintain documentation and records related to tax filings and provisions.

    • Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams for tax-related matters.

    • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure organizational compliance.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Qualifications & Experience:

    • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Law.

    • 5+ years of experience in Indian taxation (both direct and indirect).

  • Skills Required:

    • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.

    • Adaptability to changing tax environments and regulations.
