We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our Clients Team.. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of tax professionals, providing technical expertise and guidance on complex tax matters, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to their clients. Your primary focus will be on preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, as well as providing tax planning and consulting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns (individual, partnership, S corp)
• Manage tax engagements and ensure timely, accurate filings
• Perform bookkeeping and accounting support as needed
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide recommendations
• Research tax issues and interpret regulations
• Communicate with clients and respond to tax notices
• Maintain organized workpapers and documentation
Qualifications
• 8–10+ years in public accounting
• Strong experience with individual and business tax returns
• Knowledge of federal and California tax law
• Proficiency in tax software and Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred
