Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team.The Senior Tax Accountant will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations by providing expert tax accounting support. This individual will be responsible for preparing book/tax differences, reviewing and preparing federal and state tax returns, responding to tax notices, and assisting with the income tax provision. The Senior Tax Accountant will work closely with the corporate accounting department and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review income tax provision calculations.

• Prepare and review taxable income calculations for legal entities.

• Review and prepare federal and state income tax returns.

• Assist with the preparation of foreign income tax provision and returns.

• Conduct income tax research and analysis as needed.

• Communicate and implement tax findings to internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain and manage tax depreciation software.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate taxation.

• Strong understanding of accounting for income tax (ASC 740) and tax compliance.

• Experience with OneSource software, including Tax Provision, Income Tax Return, and Apportionment.

• Experience supervising and reviewing the work of tax preparers.

• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• CPA or master's degree in accounting/Tax is preferred.

• Experience with SAP is preferred.
