Talent Partner – Embedded | London (Hybrid) Chapter 2 | 6+ years' experience | Start-up / Scale-up background essential

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Talent Partner to embed within a high-growth, Series B fintech. This is a confidential search — but here's what we can share:

  • Series B company backed by tier-one investors

  • Significant transaction volume, growing 40–50% year-on-year

  • ~350 employees across 6 continents, headquartered in London

  • A mission that genuinely matters — and a team that means it

You'll be employed by Chapter 2 and fully embedded within the client's talent function — owning searches end-to-end, working directly alongside their Head of Talent, and acting as a trusted partner to hiring managers across the business.

The Role

This isn't a volume role. The client hires carefully — from top-tier consulting, tech, and fintech — and expects their recruiters to match that standard.

You'll cover searches across product, engineering, operations, and business development, hiring across the UK and international markets. Their talent function runs a 93% global offer acceptance rate and 8% employee churn. You'll be expected to maintain that bar.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Partner with senior hiring managers across functions and geographies

  • Build pipelines of high-quality, genuinely relevant talent

  • Conduct rigorous compensation benchmarking throughout every search

  • Build ICPs that assess fit in both directions — right for the company, right for the candidate

  • Deliver a candidate experience that reflects the quality of the brand you're representing

  • Feed market insights and data back into hiring decisions

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years' in-house, embedded, or RPO experience — gained inside a start-up or scale-up fintech

  • Strong London market knowledge

  • Process-driven: structured interviewing, culture-fit assessment, compensation benchmarking

  • Comfortable operating at pace across multiple functions and time zones

  • Someone who thinks like a partner, not a supplier
