What You’ll Be Doing:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Corporate is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for shared support office positions across Sienna Senior Living. Acting as a strategic recruitment partner, this role collaborates with operational leaders, the Human Resources Business Partner, and hiring managers to develop proactive talent acquisition strategies that support organizational priorities.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Corporate serves as a subject matter expert, providing coaching and guidance to hiring leaders on recruitment best practices, inclusive hiring, workforce planning, and talent market trends. This role also supports employer branding initiatives, recruitment marketing, talent pipelining, and continuous improvement projects while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

How You’ll Succeed:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for all corporate roles from independent contributors to senior leadership positions.
  • Develop customized recruitment strategies for difficult-to-fill and business-critical roles.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs and succession planning priorities.
  • Provide market intelligence and hiring recommendations to support recruitment decisions.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for leadership and specialized positions.
  • Utilize active and passive sourcing techniques through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, professional associations, and industry events.
  • Identify innovative sourcing strategies and emerging recruitment trends to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Coach leaders on interviewing techniques, inclusive hiring practices, candidate assessment, and selection decisions.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive hiring manager and candidate experience.
  • Support initiatives that position Sienna as an employer of choice.
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, educational partnerships, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Maximize the use of UKG Recruiting, Phenom, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing technologies.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Support special Talent Acquisition projects, acquisitions, redevelopments, and organizational workforce strategies.
  • Mentor Talent Acquisition Specialists and provide guidance on complex recruitment activities.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment legislation, human rights legislation, accessibility standards, privacy requirements, immigration regulations, and organizational policies.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CHRP designation or working toward designation is considered an asset.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience across a variey of industries including health care, finance and information technology.
  • 6–8 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including leadership and corporate recruitment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in proactive sourcing and talent pipeline development.
  • Experience with UKG Recruiting, Phenom, LinkedIn Recruiter, or comparable Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and respond effectively to changing demands.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices
  • Proficiency with recruitment technologies and AI-enabled sourcing tools

  • The salary range for this position is: $69,953.00-$87,442.00
