We are seeking a proactive, confident and dependable Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the UK recruitment function at Synpulse. In this role, you will combine headhunting, storytelling, and consulting to attract top-tier talent and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Your mission will be to connect the best talent in the market with Synpulse while acting as a trusted partner to the business, taking ownership of the recruitment process and ensuring agreed processes and standards are consistently followed.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, while having the confidence to provide advice, challenge where required and ensure a consistent approach to recruitment across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruiting function for the London office and work closely with hiring managers and the leadership team to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Own and manage the recruitment process, ensuring agreed recruitment processes, approvals and standards are followed consistently across all UK hiring activity.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders ,providing recruitment advice, managing expectations and challenging where required to ensure a consistent and appropriate approach to hiring.
  • Deliver a seamless candidate experience at every stage of the process while championing the Synpulse employer brand.
  • Train and support interviewers to ensure a consistent and high-quality interview experience, following established recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including role briefing, sourcing, qualification, interview coordination, feedback, offer management and process management.
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, social media channels, professional networks, referrals and alternative search techniques.
  • Build and maintain talent pools to create candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Track, measure and report on recruiting metrics, consistently utilising and maintaining accurate data within our ATS (HiBob).
  • Provide market insights on industry, competitor and talent trends, including candidate availability and market conditions.
  • Identify and escalate recruitment process issues or exceptions where required, ensuring appropriate stakeholders are involved and agreed processes are maintained.
  • Primarily focus on recruitment in the UK, while actively collaborating with P&C and Talent Acquisition colleagues across the EU region to share knowledge, provide support where needed and maintain consistency in recruitment practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, either within an agency or in-house environment, managing the full 360° recruitment lifecycle. While there is no fixed minimum threshold of recruitment experience required, candidates for these roles would typically have gained at least four years of relevant recruiting experience (or equivalent experience) in a professional recruitment setting.
  • Experience working in consulting, banking or insurance is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead recruitment activity, build strong talent pipelines andadvisehiring managers effectively.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or scaling organisation, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels, provide advice, challenge constructively, manage expectations and ensure agreed recruitment processes are followed consistently.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (experience with HiBob is a plus) and using recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory where the candidate has relevant recruitment experience and a demonstratedtrack recordof success.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Office Presence: This role is based in London and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office to effectively lead recruitment activities, collaborate with hiring managers and engage with colleagues. Some flexibility for hybrid working is supported.
  • Right to Work: Candidates must have the appropriate right to work in the UK.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
