• Lead a talent team and shape contemporary, customer-focused recruitment across a diverse NSW Government department

• Clerk Grade 9/10 role with a salary range of $133,348–$146,945 per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading

• Full-time ongoing opportunity based in Sydney CBD, with hybrid working arrangements available subject to operational needs
  
  

About the Role
This is an opportunity to lead from the front and help shape how we attract, assess and engage great people across the Department. As Senior Talent Acquisition Lead, you will lead and develop a team delivering high-quality end-to-end recruitment services, while acting as a trusted adviser to leaders and hiring managers across a diverse and complex organisation.

You will bring deep talent acquisition expertise, strong people leadership and the confidence to provide practical, solutions-focused advice. You will champion continuous improvement, strengthen governance and compliance, and create a positive experience for candidates, hiring managers and your team.

About You
You are a credible and engaging leader who combines sound judgement with a strong service mindset. You set clear expectations, build capability and create an environment where people can perform at their best. You will bring:

• Strong people leadership, with experience building capable, collaborative teams and leading through change

• Deep talent acquisition expertise, including contemporary attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection practices in a complex organisation

• A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to simplify processes, solve problems and lift the quality, consistency and efficiency of service delivery

• Strong governance and compliance capability, applying relevant legislation, policy, rules and procedures while providing practical, risk-aware advice

• Trusted partnering and influencing skills, with the confidence to coach, challenge and guide stakeholders, including senior leaders

• A customer and candidate focus, with a commitment to accessible, inclusive and positive recruitment experiences

• A data-informed approach, using insights, trends and reporting to identify risks, improve outcomes and support workforce decisions

• Strong delivery skills, with the ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities and achieve quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
