Pay Rate: $80/hr on W2
DOE

Seeking a hands-on Senior
Systems Engineer to drive end-to-end integration of next-generation diagnostic
systems, spanning sequencing workflows, instrumentation, and
data/bioinformatics pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead
  system-level integration across sample prep, library prep, sequencing/PCR,
  and data pipelines
• 
  Perform
  hands-on troubleshooting of sequencing and molecular workflows
• 
  Partner
  with assay, software, hardware, and bioinformatics teams on end-to-end
  performance
• 
  Define
  system requirements, architecture, and integration plans
• 
  Apply
  DoE and statistical analysis (JMP, ANOVA, regression)
• 
  Plan
  and execute verification & validation (V&V) testing
• 
  Support
  post-launch investigations and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 
  Degree
  in Systems, Bioengineering, or Biomedical Engineering (or related)
• 
  Senior-level
  industry experience:
• 
  PhD + 5 yrs | MS + 10 yrs | BS + 10 yrs
• 
  Hands-on
  experience with sequencing workflows (NA extraction, library prep,
  sequencing)
• 
  Strong
  troubleshooting experience in sequencing and PCR-based workflows
• 
  Required
  experience with statistical tools / DoE

Preferred

• 
  Bioinformatics
  or sequencing data pipelines (QC, variant calling)
• 
  Life
  sciences instrumentation / IVD product development
• 
  Digital
  PCR, microfluidics, or semiconductor-based sensing
• 
  Python
  or R scripting
