We are seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Administer and support Windows and/or Linux Server environments
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; Proactively reviews alert and Monitoring configuration across all supported servers .
Follow change management and maintenance processes.
Collaborate with automation. PMT and SRE teams to add, enhance, fix, or optimize Alert and Monitoring thresholds.
Incident & Problem Management
Review L2/L3 incidents related to Windows and Linux OS, patching failures, and automation issues for improving the existing process.
Ensure systems adhere to organizational security baselines and hardening standards.
Maintain and draft new documentation for SRE , compliance, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
Job Expectations:
Strong experience in Windows and Unix Server Administration
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting (basic to intermediate)
Familiarity with WinRM, Putty ,Windows services, and event logs
Experience with monitoring tools and centralized logging solutions
Experience with WSUS, or similar patching tools
Exposure to virtualization platforms (VMware /Nutanix / Hyper‑V)
Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS – Windows workloads)

This role needs to have OS skills across Windows and Linux and has skills to identify ,create or enhance the Alerting and Monitoring configuration , collaborate with PMT and Engineering teams to drive these changes at an enterprise level and build reports and observability around KPI's
