We are looking for a Systems Integration Senior Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will act as a systems-level expert for the engineering team.

Impact You Will Make

• Work closely with the engineering development team to support new product development and design activities.

• Review technical requests and define system-level requirements and specifications.

• Propose and perform technical feasibility assessments to support engineering decision-making.

• Participate in and provide system-level design reviews.

• Define verification test plans and review verification test reports.

• Serve as technical owner for current and future assigned products.

• Prepare test setups, execute verification testing, and collect and analyze data using data acquisition (DAQ) equipment in support of verification and validation (V&V) activities.

• Act as owner of platform test benches and equipment in the engineering lab; establish planned maintenance plans for equipment.

• Work closely with the engineering team and provide technical support for lab equipment users.

• Implement and execute lean management practices in the engineering lab.

• Work closely with the engineering and technical support teams to resolve field and factory issues.

• Provide technical guidance and consultation on problem-solving efforts.

• Understand and help resolve system-level issues across products and platforms.

• Builds and applies established systems integration knowledge under guidance; supports new devel-opment through requirement review, feasibility input, and verification test planning; owns day-to-day equipment care and executes planned maintenance in the engineering lab.

• Acts as systems-level technical expert; independently drives technical direction for new develop-ment and prototype deployment and owns technical solutions for assigned products; owns platform test benches and establishes planned maintenance plans for lab equipment.

Our Ideal Candidate

•Professional engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or re-lated discipline) or equivalent practical experience.

•Experience in systems integration, new product development, or test/inspection equipment engi-neering for automation or semiconductor equipment is required; experience with Cohu Final Test or Inspection platforms is preferred.

•Hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading lab equipment or test benches (e.g., data acquisition systems, test fixtures, prototype test setups) is required.

•Proficient in statistics and technical writing.

•Excellent verbal and communication skills.

•High sense of urgency for completing tasks.

•Excellent team collaboration skills.

•Strong problem-solving abilities, with a creative and innovative approach.

•Ability to work independently and take initiative.

•Flexibility for extended hours, shift rotation, and occasional travel to support new development and customer programs when required.

•For Senior Engineer, stronger technical depth and relevant job-related experience are expected.
