About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Enterprise Tooling / DevOps Engineer to drive automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and observability improvements across enterprise platforms. The role focuses on reducing manual effort through scripting and CI/CD integration while ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant deployments using Terraform. The engineer will strengthen system reliability through robust recovery planning and post-incident improvements. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively and modernize our tooling ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement automation to reduce manual operational effort.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and integration with enterprise tooling.
Implement and maintain observability standards (monitoring, logging, alerting).
Evaluate and adopt AI capabilities responsibly within tooling ecosystem.
Ensure automation aligns with governance, security, and compliance standards.
Continuously identify areas for operational efficiency through automation.
Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code to improve scalability and efficiency.
Strengthen CI/CD integrations and observability across enterprise platforms.
Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring and recovery planning.
Troubleshoot complex issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining clear documentation and governance compliance
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable deployments.
Maintain version-controlled configurations for tooling setups.
Integrate tooling deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
Review and validate Terraform scripts for compliance and security.
Reduce configuration drift through automated provisioning.
Develop and maintain recovery and rollback procedures.
Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing exercises.
Ensure backup configurations are documented and validated.
Support high-availability and resilience design within tooling platforms.
Lead or support post-incident reviews to strengthen recovery mechanisms
Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy) to automate routine tasks.
Ensure scripts are documented, version-controlled, and reusable.
Optimize scripts to improve performance and reliability.
Identify opportunities to replace manual tasks with automation.
Maintain secure coding practices in all automation scripts
