deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Engineer in Huntsville, Al.

deciBel Research seeks a Systems Requirements Engineer in support of the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA's) Ground-Based Mid-course Defense (GMD) program on the GWS Architecture and Delivery requirements team.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.

Essential Functions:

• Review and guide systems engineering team to ensure first time quality of all Architecture, Requirements, Test and Verification products.
• This will involve the review, development and approval of the following;
  • Verification test products.
  • Verification documentation.
  • Requirement products such as new requirements, derived and system level.
  • Traceability analysis.
  • Schedules, plans and performance to those plans.
• Participate in requirements development and verification products.
• Document analysis results in reports and briefings for review and critique by stakeholders.
• Create and present briefings within the team, to Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and supporting stakeholders.
• Duties will include leading teams of engineers in the development of products.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5+ years of related experience or a Master's degree.

Experience Requirements:

• Strong technical background in systems engineering and verification.
• Ability to think critically and capture concepts in papers, presentations, and discussions.
• Experience with DOORS.
• Recent requirements authoring experience.

• Must be capable of working both independently and within a team environment.

• CAMEO Experience
• Test Experience
