BD are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Limerick team, working alongside our USA team; supporting the development and sustainment of advanced infusion technologies. This is a great opportunity to work on complex electromechanical products within a global, multi-functional environment, influencing products that make a significant difference to patients and healthcare professionals worldwide.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play an important role in driving both new product development (NPD) and product sustainment activities across our infusion portfolio.
Working with multidisciplinary teams spanning engineering, quality, regulatory, product management, software, electronics, manufacturing, and external partners, you will ensure robust system-level design, integration, verification, and validation throughout the product lifecycle.
You will be a technical leader, capable of translating diverse stakeholder inputs into clear system requirements while balancing technical trade-offs, quality expectations, and regulatory obligations.
As part of a global engineering organisation, you'll collaborate regularly with teams in the United States. Flexibility to adjust working hours when needed for cross-regional meetings and project activities will be important to ensure successful partnership and delivery.
