AIR6500 is delivering the Joint Air Battle Management System (JABMS) for the Royal Australian Air Force, bringing together air, electromagnetic and missile defence capabilities within a complex, multi-domain environment. As the program continues to evolve, you’ll have the opportunity to tackle challenging early-stage systems engineering problems where your experience and technical judgement can make a genuine impact.
This is a varied, hands-on role. One day you may be designing and defining a complex subsystem, and the next you could be working with customers and technical specialists to shape new approaches for future Air Force capability. You’ll work in an Agile environment alongside experienced engineers, SMEs and industry partners, with the opportunity to directly influence the design and maturity of a nationally significant Defence system.
