The Systems Engineer is responsible for working on with project s on th right-hand side of the V lifecycle, engaging with stakeholders to deliver customer equipment that meet integration requirements, verification, validation and qualification of products, systems or components. This may require working with hardware, software or firmware.

This Systems Engineering vacancy presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop and grow their skills and knowledge within a thriving organisation. The job holder will be engaged in a wide variety of Systems Engineering activities covering the entire engineering lifecycle, including; systems definition, input to estimates and bid activities, requirements apportionment, systems architecting, integration, verification & validation, which will involve proactive interaction and communication with other Engineering and non-Engineering functions. Candidates with a good understanding of all aspects of Systems Engineering relating to lifecycle processes and methodologies should apply.

• Requirements capture and management - Maturing requirements
• De-Bugging
• Test Documentation Authoring
• Define Test plans
• Execute integration and validation tests
• Analyse test results
• Test Specs Creation
• Creation of VVRM
• Acceptance
• Safety Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering discipline

Essential skills

• Systems Engineering:
  • Requirements and Use Case analysis
  • Concept assessment and design trade studies
  • System architecture design and functional modelling
  • Performance assessment and systems behaviour analysis
  • Verification, Validation and Certification
  • Model based engineering techniques, including MBSE
  • Acceptance
  • Integration
  • Testing

Desired skills

• Defence Sector Highly desirable.
• Bid Management desirable.
• Polarian Requirements Management.
• Vehicle Experience would be desirable from automotive sector.

Experience

• Experience working within systems engineering with right hand side of V lifecycle.
• Modifications and configuration management
• Project and Programmes Experience desirable
