Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discussions and solution architecture for SCADA/EMS systems, ensuring alignment with JIEMS-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with Product Development and Technical Leads to guarantee on-schedule delivery of software releases and achievement of system integration milestones.
  • Support Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, and actively contribute to system commissioning and training initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive technical instructions, procedures, and project engineering documents to clearly communicate all technical information and requirements to both internal and external stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for client technical inquiries within assigned domains or as otherwise designated. The Solution Consultant is tasked with maintaining strong coordination between the End-User, Customer, and HE design teams.
  • Solution Consultants are allocated project implementation responsibilities in their fields of expertise and are expected to operate from the customer project office (SIBU). These duties ensure effective communication and facilitate seamless project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Power Systems Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SCADA/EMS system implementation and maintenance.
  • Experience with EMS modeling tools (SCADA, Network, Generation) and display building tools is a plus.

Language & Cultural Requirements

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Above basic level in spoken and written Japanese.

  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a dynamic project environment.
