
The Opportunity
The Senior Systems and Data Analyst plays a key role within the Division of Research and Enterprise in leading the development, enhancement and ongoing management of research systems, reporting solutions and data services within the Research Analysis, Data and Reporting (RADAR) unit that support the University's research community. The position provides advanced technical, analytical and systems expertise, working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data-driven and technology-enabled solutions.
The role is responsible for leading complex reporting and systems initiatives, supporting the ongoing management and continuous improvement of research platforms, data assets and information services, and ensuring the delivery of accurate, reliable and accessible information to stakeholders. The Senior Systems and Data Analyst also provides technical leadership and mentoring within the team and acts as a key escalation point for complex systems, reporting and data-related issues, driving sustainable improvements to service quality, operational efficiency and data integrity.
The position reports to the Manager, Research Analytics and Web and has no direct reports. The role may provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to other team members.
