This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Core Tasks:

1. Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.
2. Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.
3. Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
4. Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
5. Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.
6. Install, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers.
7. Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.
8. Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures.
9. Manage system and server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
10. Monitor and maintain system and server configurations.
11. Perform repairs on faulty system and server hardware.
12. Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.

Required:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 15 years’ experience as a System Administrator, OR High school diploma and 20 years’ experience as a System Administrator
2. Experience with Windows Sever Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy
3. Familiarity with Linux Server Administration
4. VMware/ESXi
5. VMware vCenter
6. Networking Switching and Router Management
7. VMWare Virtual Networking
8. Storage Management (NetApp)
9. Hardware and Operating System troubleshooting
10. System hardening
11. Security Compliance Scanning (Nessus, ACAS)
12. Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements
13. Active TS/SCI security clearance with current FS polygraph (MPO)
14. Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g. CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
15. Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.

Preferred:

1. Linux administration
2. Jira administration
3. ISSE experience for managing and maintaining the current system
4. Cloud and container experience
