  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and service requests, providing rapid and effective troubleshooting across server, storage, identity, and cloud domains, and ensuring root cause analysis is completed and documented.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Systems Administrators and Junior Systems Administrators, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions, peer reviews, and supporting the development of team technical capability.
  • Manage patching and vulnerability remediation across the server estate, ensuring systems are maintained in a compliant and secure state in line with the organization’s patch management policy and security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all infrastructure components, including build runbooks, configuration baselines, network diagrams, and change records within the CMDB and knowledge management systems.
  • Contribute to IT operations projects and infrastructure improvement initiatives, including hardware refresh cycles, data Centre consolidation, platform upgrades, and business continuity program activities.
  • Collaborate with the IT Security team to ensure server and cloud infrastructure configurations are aligned to security policies and hardening standards, and to respond to audit findings and vulnerability assessments in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the IT on-call rotation, providing after-hours support for critical infrastructure incidents as required and in accordance with the team’s operational support agreements.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable, fit-for-purpose IT solutions that drive efficiency and support organizational goals.
