What you get to do (Essential Functions):

  • Administers, monitors, supports, and oversees specialized computer applications.
  • Maintains, configures, and performs enhancements for systems and troubleshoots application problems, identifies and mitigates systems cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
  • M365 and Azure administration including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and SQL administration.
  • Work with users and other team members to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with environment and applications running in the environment.
  • Administer the virtual server environment including management of the host systems, creation and removal of guest server systems, hardware and software upgrades and related storage systems. Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standup and support virtual infrastructure. This would include deployment of virtual infrastructure solutions, server virtualization, storage, networking, and virtual machines.
  • Intune administration and mobile device management

What we expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Science, System Administration or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a system administration environment that includes experience in supporting and administering operations software, configuring, implementing, upgrading, and providing help desk/end-user support and change management experience; OR
  • Solid understanding of virtualization, VMWare, AHV, Hyper-V or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Azure administration including Exchange, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, licensing management, and security administration.
  • Experience with Intune administration including policies and app packaging.
  • Basic scripting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
  • Self-motivated; ability to efficiently prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills needed; excellent written and verbal skills – needs to be able to summarize and communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Ability to retain knowledge and remain current with new industry developments and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate conceptual & analytical thinking: have strong prioritization and decision-making skills; ability to understand the overall big picture yet focus on and complete details well.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other department staff, management, and vendors.
  • Professional and positive demeanor with internal and external customers.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to effectively communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds.  The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,290 - $118,110 per year. This range represents what The Boldt Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to: candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, alignment with market data and internal equity as well as other business and organizational needs. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work at our Appleton, Wi office. If the incumbent works out of a different location, the anticipated salary range is subject to change.
