Review system architecture and requirements; contribute to creating thorough test plans with system engineering and other technical teams
Develop automated test plans and detailed test procedures for new features and systems
Build and maintain test setups supporting both automated regression and manual validation
Work hands-on in integration, bring-up, debugging, and enabling new features/products within satellite communication systems
Log, investigate, and analyze observed defects
Perform root-cause analysis of test failures and collaborate closely with development teams to define corrective actions
Support test management tools and maintain involvement in continuous integration practices
Conduct detailed data analysis and post-processing of collected measurement results
Prepare regular summaries, reports, and performance metrics for test execution
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in system validation
Strong experience validating complex HW/SW/embedded systems in a lab environment
Solid understanding of RF physical-layer testing with hands-on use of RF lab instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Signal Generators, power meters, high-speed scopes, etc.)
Experience developing automation for validation workflows; proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, C++, etc.
Experience testing IP networking systems (routers, network processors) with good knowledge of IP communication protocols and network performance behavior
Background in planning, estimating, and developing comprehensive system tests
