Job Description

Our client is a leading financial institution, they are currently seeking for a (Senior) System & Network Engineer to join their team.

(Senior) System & Network Engineer​ (5-day work)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building, patching, testing (check for compatibility issues, conducts QA) and deploying systems and platforms meeting clients’ needs and specifications.
• Plan and implement changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance.
• Perform storage and server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations.
• Perform software and operating system upgrades and track system licensing.
• Configure security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals.
• Teach operation team for system checking and basic setting.
• Responsible for handling documents and troubleshooting by following procedures related to network or platform performance.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain office and/or production software, adjunct support and/or utility software, i.e. Virus malware protection, office application suites and/or application software.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Information System or relevant disciplines
• 1-3 year(s) experience with virtualization (e.g Proxmox, VMware).
• Experience with monitoring systems (e.g Zabbix).
• 1-3 year(s) basic knowledge of configuration on network equipment (e.g Cisco, Huawei), Linux Servers and Windows Servers.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in one of the below industries: Telecommunications (MPLS/SDH networks), IT (Microsoft servers/Linux servers), ISP (Core network), solid experience or fresh graduate candidate will also be considered (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
