Boeing’s Enterprise Cloud Solutions organization is seeking a Senior System Integration Specialist to support our team in Seattle, WA; Englewood, CO; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC or Plano, TX.
Our specialist will be responsible for the implementation and sustainment of our enterprise migration to public cloud platforms and hybrid solutions. This role will own complex integration activities, respond to tenant escalations, lead technical troubleshooting and root-cause resolution, and drive automation and operational excellence across MS Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
This is a hands‑on technical lead role on 3rd shift and will require leadership, mentorship, and close collaboration across engineering, operations, security, and vendor teams.
Position Responsibilities
Lead design, integration, and sustainment of cloud platform services across Azure, AWS, and GCP
Provide advanced technical support and incident response for production-critical cloud services; coordinate rapid remediation for escalations
Drive orchestration and automation (CI/CD, IaC) to improve operational efficiency, reduce toil, and improve first-time quality
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across full application stacks (OS, middleware, application, network, storage) in cloud and hybrid environments
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues and deliver platform changes
Maintain and produce documentation: runbooks, troubleshooting guides, standard operating procedures, and tenant training materials
Mentor and teach less experienced engineers; provide technical leadership during incidents and change implementations
Participate in change control, release management, and capacity/cost optimization activities
Basic qualifications
5+ years of experience working with DevOps and cloud platform operations
3+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
3+ years of experience with troubleshooting, researching, isolating, and then resolving issues with multi-layered technology in a demanding production environment
1+ years of experience with IAM tools, logging/monitoring, and encryption
1+ years of experience with designing and implementing security solutions for cloud-based systems, including IAM, network security, data protection, and compliance
Ability to work 3rd shift, as required by this position
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with ServiceNow (or other ITSM), ITIL practices, and incident/change management processes
Experience integrating cloud networking with on-premises datacenter networking (VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute)
Experience on shift-based/night operations and managing high-severity incidents during off-hours
Experience working with regulated environments or working under compliance regimes
Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to teach and mentor others
Familiarity with cost optimization and governance practices in cloud environments
