The Team:
You will be joining the Internal IT team as Senior System Engineer and will be based in our location in Bangalore. You will be responsible for administrative & infrastructure related 2nd level tasks including regular maintenance of the IT infrastructure.

The Role:
As Celonis continues to grow we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, pragmatic and “team player” Senior System Engineer to join us and take ownership of Infrastructure-, Automation- and related IT systems for the business. It’s a role where you will have great impact, autonomy and visibility across the wider IT team with many opportunities for learning, development and building enterprise technologies. A willingness to work in a shift-based model is essential to ensure global coverage and timely support.

The work you’ll do:

• Administration/Maintenance of the global IT infrastructure
• You resolve 2nd level IT tickets raised by internal employees and collaborate with our international based IT Servicedesk & Infrastructure Team
• You proactively identify and create new necessary maintenance tasks related to our IT infrastructure and proactively resolve them
• Spearheading the future of automation within Internal IT
• Azure and Entra ID related systems, processes, services and access rights
• Management of Google Workspace Platform including directory service management and scripting
• Work independently on small IT infrastructure related projects
• Collaboration Tools: Slack/O365/Google Workspace/Zoom

The qualifications you need:

• Strong knowledge (7+ years experience) in administering and maintaining a SaaS, cloud, on-prem and clients environment comprising of:
• Azure (incl., but not limited to, Entra ID, Identity Governance, Defender)
• APIs, Powershell scripting
• Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, Linux, Mac OS, iOS
• Microsoft O365 knowledge including Teams
• Google Workspace and Cloud Platform
• Structured troubleshooting and escalation to vendors

• Strong knowledge (7+years experience) in the following areas:
• Global infrastructure management including on-prem and Cloud providers
• Automation of processes in highlighted areas
• IT project management skills, evaluation of new technologies and presentation to Senior Management
• Administration and use of GitHub repositories
• TCP/IP networks (incl., but not limited to, DNS, DHCP, routing, SSL)

  • You are a role model for other System Engineers within the IT Team
  • You are able to act cross-functional in different system areas.
  • Consistently making sure that everyone is aligned and following the global valid IT processes.
  • Working independently and are able to organize work for you and others
  • Actively share knowledge with Junior colleagues to help them succeed
  • You have a solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.
  • You have the experience to develop configurations independently and target oriented
  • You have a strong customer oriented mindset with a clear focus on the sense of urgency
