We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to our Infrastructure team Here you will mostly deal with the tasks related to product infrastructure and internal services. The infrastructure team is not engaged in CI/CD processes as we have a separate team for this.
Our team's mission is to build a reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly infrastructure that empowers our product and teams to move quickly and safely.
Tasks to be solved:
Being responsible for the development and support of a specific segment of our infrastructure.
Supporting cloud infrastructure inside GCP.
Administering PostgreSQL clusters.
Regularly participating in duties to support the infrastructure, including solving emerging problems and incidents in production.
Researching new technologies and tools to improve product infrastructure.
Actively participating in internal team discussions to address problems and select new technologies.
Developing technical proposals (RFCs) and documentation.
Sharing knowledge and experience with other team members to contribute to their professional growth.
You will need the following skills:
System-level design and implementation: Experience in designing and implementing large-scale or complex infrastructure systems and processes.
Cloud infrastructure management: 3+ years hands-on experience with cloud providers (preferably the Google Cloud Platform).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong knowledge of Terraform and Ansible
PostgreSQL administration: Extensive experience in managing PostgreSQL on production (backup strategies, replication, HA, DRP). Experience with other databases would be a plus.
Linux administration: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based environments.
Observability & monitoring: Experience with monitoring and log processing systems (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, or similar). Strong understanding of metric collection, alerting, and log analysis.
Scripting & automation: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other common languages for automation and scripting.
Containerization & Kubernetes: Experience working with Docker and understanding the operational principles of Kubernetes
GitOps & deployment automation: Experience with ArgoCD and Helm for managing Kubernetes applications. Experience with GitLabCI for automation and deployment would be a plus.

Our company was founded in 2015 in Cyprus with the initial goal of publishing and operating third-party games.
In 2016 we decided that we wanted to work with our own games instead of ready-made products. We were excited by the idea of being a full-cycle game development studio: to launch a game, gain initial traction, and then scale up the game globally and become a leader in the genre.
2017 saw the arrival of our first game, Total Battle. We discovered the game in its very early stages, and we believed in its great potential, so we made it our goal to focus on this single title and become the leader in the 4X strategy genre.
In 2021, we began to transform the company into a full-cycle game development studio, adding game developers, designers, and artists to our already existing publishing team, which consisted of our finance, legal, marketing, community, and support staff. We finished this process in 2022, and we now operate from our two offices in Limassol.
