ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior System Development Engineer to join a growing team. If you are customer-focused with creative problem-solving skills and have experience supporting technology teams this role may be for you. As a Senior System Development Engineer, you will...
- Be a technical lead on the team and act as a subject matter expert for one or more services
- Lead Infrastructure support, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services
- Lead coding projects primarily in Java, Python and AWS technologies
- Lead software deployment support in staging non-production and production environments
- Lead the development of tools to aid operations and maintenance
- Lead system and support status reporting
- Lead large, cross-functional team projects and resolve complex system issues
- Understand the business impact of system development decisions
- Lead design, code, and procedure review discussions
- Lead discussions related to improving Audible’s infrastructure, operational performance, and stability
- Play a significant role in hiring, mentoring, and training employees
- Demonstrate excellent judgment when making decisions
- Lead pipeline automation and drive it to closure

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure

- 3+ years of experience managing data pipelines
