Hiring Position Senior System Analyst- Investment Banking (M-SM)

Pay Rate THB 80000 to THB 120000

Our client is a prominent commercial bank in Thailand that offers a wide range of financial services, including investment banking. The demand for this role is on the rise as more organizations shift their operations, processes, and communication online. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain and enhance systems, as well as collaborate with different teams, including those outside the IT department, to achieve goals. A vast experience in Investment Products is a must, while banking experience would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, gather information and determine the impact of proposed technical and functional solutions.
• Manage end-to-end workflow processes, create data flow diagrams, design specifications, and system designs.
• Develop solutions and prepare design documents aligned with business requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications and design system interfaces for developers.
• Assist in creating test scenarios and scripts, liaising with internal or vendor parties to fix defects.
• Manage project progress to ensure timely delivery of scope and monitor completion of assignments.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to facilitate and deliver projects within scope and timeline.
• Lead and manage outsourcing to achieve deliverables and assignments.
• Prioritize tasks and juggle competing demands while following through to completion.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, manage issues, and provide plans to close them out.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Management or a related field.
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience as a Programmer, BA, SA, or implementing IT projects.
• Experience in Impact Analysis, Application Development, Analyst Solution, and System Design.
• Familiarity with Banking Industry, Securities & Capital Markets Industry, Treasury system, Custodian system, or Registrar System.
• Proficiency in Database and/or web application programming, including MVC, ASP, ASP.NET, C#, C++, Visual Basic, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML.
• Knowledge of common SDLC or Agile development practices.
• Positive and growth mindset, open to feedback.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Project management skills for Information Technology projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Interpersonal, team building, and motivational skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in writing technical specifications documents.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in regard to information processed, stored, or accessed by the systems.
