Ecommpay is on a mission to build a global, data-driven payment ecosystem. We help top e-commerce companies to grow globally with local bespoke solutions. You have a unique chance to be the driving force behind Ecommpay's payment platform as a Senior System Analyst (Card Issuing Processing)

We are a fintech company building an in-house card issuing and processing platform that supports end-to-end payment lifecycle management across issuing operations.

The Senior System Analyst will work closely with product, engineering, QA, issuers, and external partners, contributing to the evolution of a scalable and scheme-compliant issuing processing ecosystem.

Responsibilities

🧠 System & Functional Analysis

• Elicit, analyze, and formalize functional and system requirements for card issuing and transaction processing flows

• Translate business and operational needs into system specifications, API definitions,integration contracts, and flow documentation

• Take ownership of assigned processing components or transaction flows, functional domains and processing areas over time

• Ensure end-to-end functional consistency across integrations and internal services
  
  💳 Card Issuing & Processing Domain

• Analyze and describe card transaction lifecycle, including authorization, clearing, chargebacks, disputes, 3DS and tokenized flows

• Work with card lifecycle management, tokenization services, fraud and risk controls, scheme connectivity and issuer-side integrations

• Participate in design and evaluation of external issuer APIs, business client management APIs, internal processing integrations

• Ensure solutions align with Visa/Mastercard scheme requirements by interpreting and applying scheme documentation and interface specifications

🔗 Integration & Technical Analysis

• Design and maintain REST APIs, integration mappings, sequence and state&transaction flow diagrams and data contracts

• Participate in integration analysis with payment schemes, issuer banking systems, tokenization services, 3DS ACS platforms and internal processing components

• Analyze and document ISO8583-based transaction messaging and processing logic

• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex transaction and integration issues

📄 Documentation & Modelling

• Create and maintain functional and system specifications

• Develop UML, BPMN, API documentation and end-to-end process/transaction flow diagrams

• Ensure documentation is structured, maintainable, and auditable, with consistency across business, functional, and technical specifications

🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with issuers, product teams, engineering, QA, and payment scheme representatives and external integration partners

• Act as a communication bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams

• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery activities within Scrum-based development
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst in payments, fintech, or card processing

• Solid hands-on experience with card issuing or processing platforms

• Strong understanding of card Transaction Lifecycle, chargeback & dispute flows, tokenization and card lifecycle management

• Solid knowledge of Visa processing ecosystem and transaction flows

• Experience working with issuer-side integrations and banking systems

• General understanding of PCI DSS, PSD2 / SCA, GDPR and payment scheme compliance requirements

• Ability to incorporate compliance considerations into functional and system specifications

• Proficiency in English

• Senior-level ownership mindset with interest in deep domain expertise in issuing and processing

• Ability to balance technical quality, delivery pragmatism, and compliance requirements

• Proactive and capability of driving clarification in ambiguous areas
  

Nice to have

• Experience with Mastercard or Visa integration or certification processes

• Exposure to tokenization, 3DS ACS, and fraud/risk platforms

• Understanding of issuer operational processes and card programs
