🔹About the project

We are looking for a Senior System Administrator for our internal needs. You will work with the company’s cloud systems, participate in internal projects, and help our SysAdmin team. Please note that this is a full-time, office-based role from our Kyiv office during the first three months. After successfully completing the probation period, you will be able to work in a hybrid format.

🔹Requirements

Infrastructure & Networking:

• Strong networking experience, including:
• Routers — MikroTik
• Switches — Juniper, HP
• WLAN — Aruba, Ubiquiti (UBNT)
• VPN tunnels, IPSec, EoIP
• VLANs, 802.1X, RADIUS
• Firewalls and firewall rule management
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, NAT and network troubleshooting.
• Understanding of network security principles, firewall rules and security best practices.
• Experience with software and hardware load balancers.
• Experience with proxy and reverse proxy technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues and identify root causes.

Microsoft / Windows Infrastructure:

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration.
• Practical experience with:
• Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
• DNS / DHCP
• DFS
• WSUS
• SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager
• Group Policy
• Understanding of Active Directory security, Group Policy and identity management.
• Experience with enterprise Windows infrastructure and production environments.
• Experience managing Windows devices.

Virtualization & Cloud:

• Strong experience with VMware vCenter Server and virtualized environments.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Good understanding of Azure infrastructure, including:
• Virtual Machines
• Virtual Networks, Subnets and NSGs
• Azure Storage
• Azure Backup
• Azure Monitor / Log Analytics
• Azure RBAC
• Experience with hybrid on-premises / cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of cloud security, availability, backup and disaster recovery principles.
• Experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure optimization is an advantage.

Identity, Microsoft 365 & Endpoint Management:

• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including users, groups, MFA, SSO and Conditional Access.
• Understanding of endpoint security and device compliance policies.

Security:

• Strong understanding of infrastructure and network security principles.
• Experience with firewall configuration and security policies.
• Understanding of VPN/IPSec security.
• Understanding of RBAC, MFA, least-privilege access and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with system hardening, patch management and security best practices.

Automation & Modern Infrastructure:

• Good PowerShell skills and experience automating administrative tasks.

Monitoring, Backup & Troubleshooting:

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and log analysis.
• Experience with backup and restore solutions.

Communication:

• Intermediate English (B1–B2 or higher).
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to document infrastructure, configurations and technical solutions.

🔹Nice to have

• Practical experience with Linux server administration, including Ubuntu Server, CentOS
• Basic understanding of Linux networking, services, permissions, logs and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Azure certifications, especially Azure Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect.
• CCNA / JNCIA certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender.
• Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Windows Server Failover Clustering.
• Experience with enterprise firewall platforms.
• Experience with hybrid identity and Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect.
• Experience participating in cloud migration or infrastructure transformation projects.
• Experience with MDM / Endpoint Management solutions, like Microsoft Intune, Mosyle/Jamf
