Your
missions :

The System team is part of the Operation
& Infrastructure Department. The mission of the System team is to enable
Ceva to provide the infrastructure to sustain and accelerate its business,
anywhere in the world. This team is global and multicultural with team leader
located in Europe. We bring our expertise and excellence to provide the hosting
capabilities to deliver our production.

As a Senior System Admin, your mission
will be to build and operate systems in a challenging way:
Install and configure l servers locally and
remotely.
Proactively manage and maintain physical servers, hypervisors,
monitoring and backups.
Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and
contingency plans.
Implement the tools and processes of deployment and
industrialization that ensure the sustainability working of our
customers.
Investigate and check systems, analyze and resolve performance
and scalability issues.
Define and document best practices and support procedures.
Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
Support business solution vendors in deploying or upgrading
applications hosted on servers.
Assist with hardware, and software vendor evaluation,
recommendation and negotiations Mentor / cross train team members on
existing and new technologies.
Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as
required.

Your
profile :

Position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) with at least 10 years of professional experience in on-premises System Administration, ideally with a DevOps culture.
Good understanding of Ops technologies
Experience working in a global, matrixed organization preferred

Other Responsibilities and Key
Duties:

Leadership & Management
Takes part in SDL team with active interaction with Zone and
country leader
Builds a high performing regional system roadmap that
is driven by regional sites master plan and result oriented
goals and supports continuous improvement objectives
Supervise system activities day to day work and
projects
Take initiatives to propose System team improvements
at global and local level and actively contribute to local IT Team
success
Contribute to the success of Global System team

Project Management
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget,
resources, and timeline. Develop and implement project plans, risk
assessments and contingency plans
Interacts with corporate service delivery managers on
regional business initiatives to ensure the decision is
compliant with the corporate roadmaps (global architecture
consistency).
Builds and maintains the
local system project portfolio in conjunction with the Global
PMO and under corporate IT policy.
Ensure proper communication and change
management to all stakeholders.

Delivery, Support and Service
performance

Ensures local systems and applications are up and running and
that all requests are addressed with defined SLAs and agreed customer
satisfaction levels across the business.
Install and configure internal servers locally
and globally
Proactively manage and maintain physical
servers, Hypervisor, monitoring and backups.
Administer and support Windows Server core, VMware, Veeam
B&R technologies and databases.
Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and
reporting functions that will make a hands-off
environment
Define and document best practices and support
procedures
Support business solution vendors in deploying or upgrading
applications hosted on servers for US, Canada
Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related
emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance
for worldwide organization
Maintain inventory and asset configuration
documentation
Assist with hardware, and software vendor
evaluation, recommendation and negotiations Mentor / cross train
team members on existing and new technologies
Act as the representative of the local key users who use
corporate IT systems and applications. Interact with corporate
service delivery teams to ensure local customer satisfaction (voice of the
zone/platform).
Ensure corporate IT systems and applications deployed locally
are properly used (maximize Ceva IT investments).
Analyzes, reviews, and measures performance against defined and
agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs) with the business and
operating level agreements (OLAs) with service providers, both internal
and external

Security & Cyber resilience
Actively contributes with cyber-SOC services
to identify real time attacks and mitigate all cyber risks
Share cyber performance metrics, reviews and action
status updates in close relation with CISO and CIO
Ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of
information is not compromised
Comply with existing laws, regulations and corporate
policies and processes
Designs and implements cyber resilient IT architecture to limit
cyber risk exposure and external attacks
Patch Management: commits to patching and upgrades to
safeguard applications and reduce vulnerabilities

Financial & Budget Management
Defines the regional system IT budget (OpEx / CapEx) in
collaboration with the Country leader and System SDL
Closely tracks the financial spend through purchases orders and
monthly financial reviews to ensure budget target is met

Vendor management
Works closely with sourcing and purchasing teams to
select preferred global partners that can meet needs.
Performs cyclical reviews with primary vendors
to provide feedback and ensure compliance with requirements
Asset Management: builds systems to track all global assets to
ensure full compliance, visibility and negotiation
leverage.

Compliance
Integrates mandatory regulatory compliance requirements in the
IS master plan and relevant infrastructure
projects: GxP (QI/QO/QP), GDPR…
Conforms with Internal Control and group IS policies (security,
budget approval, investment requests)
Defines and develops best practices, governance standards,
processes, and metrics to ensure IS services comply
with established corporate methodology and quality
standards to enforce interoperability and agility.
Ensures consistent quality and overall solution performance to
meet group requirements.

This position typically works in an office
environment and as such the requirements are:
