Job Description
We're opening eyes, hearts and minds to the impact that a pharmacy team can have in changing lives.
Join our group of talented, committed team members-pharmacists, pharmacy care coordinators, technologists, product strategists and more-to create and expand the delivery of personalized health support that people didn't even know could be possible.
The Senior System Administrator for Stellus Rx will be a key member of our Technology Team, working closely with leaders and across the organization to unlock the health of millions of Americans. We are a culture that is unabashedly driven by purpose — making a difference to patients and team members while growing at an accelerated rate.
This role is built for a systems professional who doesn't just maintain infrastructure — they actively use AI tools to automate, monitor, troubleshoot, and document faster and smarter than traditional manual approaches allow.
Role and Responsibilities:
AI-Augmented Operations & Automation
- Use AI-assisted tools and code generation (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) to write, review, and optimize shell scripts and automation routines — replacing repetitive manual scripting effort.
- Leverage AI to accelerate system audits, generate configuration documentation, and surface anomalies in system performance data.
- Apply AI-powered monitoring and alerting tools to proactively detect issues before they impact availability or performance.
- Perform system audits and maintain configuration files, using automation to reduce manual overhead and improve consistency.
System Administration & Infrastructure Management
- Ensure uptime, performance, security, and resource efficiency of servers and multi-user computer systems within budget constraints.
- Install, configure, and maintain system updates, patches, and upgrades in accordance with change management policies.
- Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimal performance levels; maintain full infrastructure configuration including documentation.
- Configure and manage data storage solutions (SAN/NAS), backup/recovery systems, and disaster recovery methodologies.
- Evaluate, install, and resolve issues related to patches, system applications, and data storage impacting availability and performance.
AI-Assisted Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Use AI tools to rapidly diagnose system and application issues — reducing mean time to resolution by replacing manual log review and root cause analysis with AI-accelerated investigation.
- Resolve issues reported by support teams related to applications and data storage; document resolutions in a structured, reusable knowledge base.
- Apply problem-solver thinking to complex infrastructure challenges, leveraging AI to generate and evaluate solution alternatives quickly.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain system security policies and establish auditing procedures to ensure a secure computing and storage networking environment.
- Use AI-enhanced security tooling to continuously monitor for vulnerabilities, anomalous behavior, and policy drift.
- Suggest and assist in the implementation of practical data storage policies and procedures aligned with organizational standards.
Collaboration & Communication
- Provide clear verbal and written communication to development and infrastructure teams; contribute to project delivery and technical support efforts.
- Support team members through knowledge sharing, training, and technical guidance on system administration best practices.
- Work within an agile software development environment, understanding and contributing to requirement management processes.
