The Service & Team:
The Assets and Property manage the Council's 23000 acres mixed estate providing day to day FM and estate management and strategic overview through a Corporate Asset Management Plan. The team of 60 people of which 20 are MRICS deliver both a direct management and consultancy support.
The Role:
CC require an experienced property professional able to identify and bring forward land for a range of purposes primarily housing, but including employment and renewable energy. A track record of working with planners, legal teams and developers to bring sites forward successfully for delivery. RICS preferred.
Site search already undertaken has identified in excess of 60 new sites along an existing portfolio of land opportunities which require assessment and preparation for marketing.
We need an organised professional mind to work through each site identifying issues, resolving or de-risking the sites and preparing them for the market to meet the Councils ambitions linked to housing numbers, growth and renewable energy infrastructure.
This position will be subject to a standard criminal record disclosure check.
Working Pattern:
This is a full time role working 37 hours per week with flexible working arrangements. Hybrid working is the normal pattern with an expectation of one day per week in the office for collaboration sessions to build programmes of activity and share progress reports.
