The Bridge is a community‑minded not‑for‑profit supporting people across Victoria through NDIS programs, employment pathways, recreation, respite, and life‑skills development.

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Support Worker who brings heart, energy, and experience to our day services In this role, you’ll be supporting participants directly, helping run group activities, and stepping into key site coordination tasks that keep everything running smoothly. Four days a week you’ll be hands‑on with participants, and one day a week you’ll support the site with essential admin and coordination.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting participants with personalised, high‑quality, goal‑focused support
  • Helping run group activities and contributing to meaningful daily programs
  • Assisting with daily site coordination, rostering, timetables, and documentation
  • Providing leadership support to staff, students, and volunteers
  • Acting as the first point of contact when the Service Coordinator is away
  • Completing activity sign‑offs and documentation in systems like Supportability

We are looking for someone with a Certificate IV in Disability (or higher/equivalent) and demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring a team within a support setting.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
