Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

About osapiens
osapiens is one of the few real European SaaS stories: 2,500 customers, backed by BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and Armira, AI-native operating model, and the platform of choice for sustainability, supply-chain transparency, and product compliance across Europe. We are headquartered in Mannheim with primary working hubs in Munich, Madrid, and Mannheim.
Why this role exists
Europe’s largest food retailers are putting their entire upstream supply chain on the osapiens HUB. They started with meat. They’re now adding fish. Next year it will be something else. Each category brings a new universe of suppliers, a new regulatory layer, and a new set of operational realities at the farm, vessel, slaughterhouse, and port.
We need someone to shape how we onboard this — not someone to execute a playbook that already exists. The playbook is what you build.
Food traceability sits where three things meet: supply chain operations, AI, and sustainability. Most products in this space pick one lane — a dashboard for the sustainability team, a portal for the buyer, an ERP add-on for compliance. We are the operating layer where the retailer and every supplier in their chain actually work together, with AI doing the heavy lifting on the obscure data situations. That makes the onboarding problem fundamentally harder — and the prize fundamentally bigger.
What you will own
-
The engagement model for food traceability — How we onboard a retailer end-to-end — and how we simultaneously onboard the hundreds of suppliers behind that retailer without burning the team out.
-
Category expansion — When the retailer moves from meat to fish to dairy to produce, you design how the onboarding flexes. The architecture has to handle the obscure data situations and the high-data-quality finish — both.
-
Stakeholder orchestration at scale — Category buyers, sustainability leads, QA teams, IT, and a long tail of suppliers from tier-1 corporates down to family-run farms. You make them all move at the same pace.
-
The handover to CS — Once a customer is live and adopted, you hand to Customer Success with a clean baton — documented engagement model, known risks, expansion thesis.
-
The serializable parts — Whatever you build for one retailer should make the next retailer 30% faster. AI-native tooling, reusable assets, productized workshop formats — not artisanal delivery.
What we expect — across every Delivery role
-
Extreme Ownership — Own the implementation. Own the data quality gap. Own the customer’s go-live. Never blame product, the customer’s IT team, or the supplier base.
-
Customer Outcome > Customer Comfort — Push the hard conversation about sponsorship, data, scope. We are paid to get them live and getting value — not to be polite.
-
Speed — Time-to-value is the metric. Every customer signal answered inside 24h.
-
AI-First by Default — AI is your scaling lever, not a sidebar. We expect you to be deep in agentic workflows within 90 days — we don’t expect you to arrive there.
-
High Say:Do Ratio — Every commitment delivered. The system reflects reality.
What you bring
-
5+ years in consulting, supply chain operations, procurement, data analytics, or regulatory implementation. Domain switchers are explicitly welcome — sustainability tenure is not the filter.
- A track record of designing an engagement or onboarding model — not just running someone else’s. Your strongest reference is “I changed how we did this, and here is the measurable result.”
- Comfort working across the full chain — corporate sustainability lead in the morning, fishery cooperative in the afternoon. Different languages, different stakes, same software.
-
Fluent English. German or Spanish strongly preferred. A second category language (Italian, French, Dutch, Portuguese) is a real plus.
- Hungry to make AI your scaling lever, and ready to be deep in agentic workflows fast.
This is not for you if
- You need a finished playbook before you can start.
- You optimize for billable hours or utilization over customer outcomes.
- Your strongest reference is “I rolled out the same module to 50 clients beautifully.”
- “The supplier side is hard” reads to you as an excuse, not a problem to crack.
- Process and structure are how you feel safe. Politics is how you advance.
What you get
Real ownership at the moment a category is forming. The window where Delivery shapes the playbook rather than executes it is the next 18–24 months. You will have CxO-level exposure on the customer side from day one, a real budget for AI tooling, and a direct line to Product. Munich, Madrid, or Mannheim — hybrid, with ~20% (inter)national customer travel. The category is forming. You shape it.
