All about the role:

As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless supply chain operations across international markets. You will be responsible for end-to-end order execution, supplier coordination, and proactive planning, working closely with global stakeholders to support OEM manufacturing and delivery commitments. This role offers a strong mix of strategic thinking, operational ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Planning & Coordination

  • Support phase-in and phase-out planning for new and obsolete products while minimizing operational disruptions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including NA OEM MTO Manager, Supplier Facing Teams (SFT), Global Logistics, and Sourcing to ensure aligned execution.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g. supplier capacity, material availability, container shortages) and develop action plans.

  • Coordinate shipment planning with factories and suppliers to meet market and customer requirements.

Order Management & Execution

  • Validate customer orders against minimum requirements (MOQ, lead time, fill rate, routing, logistics conditions) and recommend adjustments when needed.

  • Provide expert guidance on order quantities and lead times when initial requests do not meet criteria.

  • Release and manage purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring compliance with agreed parameters.

  • Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies, delays, or supplier-related issues.

  • Communicate confirmed production and delivery dates through agreed reporting channels.

  • Monitor, adjust, and align orders across HUBs and Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs).

  • Manage change requests, diversions, and allocations in collaboration with the NA OEM MTO Manager, suppliers, and logistics partners.

  • Ensure timely shipments by following up on carrier allocation, bookings, and capacity constraints.

  • Lead allocation and prioritization activities during capacity or material shortages, proposing solutions aligned with Global Product Line input.

Data, Reporting & Visibility

  • Provide accurate supply chain data including MOQ, lead times, fill rates, and production information.

  • Deliver transparent and up-to-date order status reports to North American stakeholders.

  • Track forecast consumption and collaborate with demand owners to ensure supply chain visibility.

  • Prepare customized customer and sales reports as required.

  • Maintain and update transit times and order data in SAP.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across order management and supplier performance.

  • Develop and implement tools that streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities related to cycle time, productivity, and cost optimization.

  • Support and track level-loading actions in cooperation with Business Analysts (BAs).

Supplier & Performance Management

  • Monitor supplier performance, focusing on on-time delivery, quality, and reliability.

  • Address capacity and material constraints through effective stakeholder engagement.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier data including lead times, stock policies, and order status.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Actively contribute to cross-functional and NPI (New Product Introduction) meetings, providing operational insights and solutions.

  • Work closely with the NA OEM MTO Manager to refine demand data and anticipate market changes.

  • Regularly communicate risks, performance updates, and improvement opportunities to senior management.

  • Act as a key communication link between Business Analysts and the supplier base, ensuring alignment on purchasing and planning activities.

  • Coordinate level-loading actions, including pull-forward and push-out initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain planning, order execution, or supplier management.

  • Proven track record of working in cross-functional, international environments.

  • Experience with OEM supply chains and complex, multi-regional operations is a strong asset.
