What you’ll do

As a Sr. Supply Chain Partner, you will play a key role in ensuring that Novo can deliver to the needed demand from our stakeholders, while maintaining the right utilization of facilities and flow of products across our supply chain.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Support senior stakeholders with inventory projections and what-if analysis and scenarios:

  • Have a deep understanding of the volume scenarios and interdependencies and how this translates into risks and opportunities within the Supply Chain Network

Maintaining Tactical Supply Chain Parameters:

  • Validate demand input and production plan output from an API (Active pharmaceutical ingredients) perspective.
  • Implement supply chain improvements in line with outcomes from the S&OP decision process.
  • Update tactical API plans based on the latest guidance and decisions.
  • Validate demand input and production plan output from a raw material perspective.
  • Ensure warehouse and storage space availability across all products, through up-to-date freezer requirement projections

Business Partnering with other VP/SVP Areas:

  • Be the “go-to” person for other VP/SVP areas, in terms of insights into dilemmas within API manufacturing and warehousing.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to ensure the best decisions for Novo Nordisk.

Business Intelligence:

  • Drive process optimization and alignment with dependent processes.
  • Analyse supply chain and production data using BI tools to identify improvement opportunities.

Who you’ll work with

API Supply Chain Management is the central department for the API manufacturing units in Denmark and US. We are responsible for the supply prerequisites within API manufacturing, and we support the Sales & Operations Planning activities and inventory management. We also provide analytical consultancy for supply chain tasks for API and stakeholders through advanced analytics and other relevant Digital Supply Chain tools.

We work closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales & Operations Planning, Supply Chain Network Strategy, GL&D Business Partners, and manufacturing site operations teams. Together, we strive to deliver high-quality results, meet deadlines, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients worldwide.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can bring the following qualifications to the role:

  • An academic degree within supply chain, business, engineering or similar.
  • + 3 years of experience from pharma or other regulated industry.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, SAP is considered an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have APICS CSCP/CPIM certification.
  • Strong ability to explain complex data clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Full proficiency in English.

What we offer

Salary: The annual base salary for this role ranges from DKK 651,000 to DKK 956,900, depending on the level of the position. Placement within the range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience.
