Job Description

Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Tullamarine, VIC
Full-time | Fast-paced, Growth-focused Environment

Are you a detail-driven supply chain professional who thrives on creating order, improving processes, and keeping operations running seamlessly? We’re looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to become a critical link in our Australia operations — ensuring precision, efficiency, and exceptional service across the supply chain.

In this hands-on and highly collaborative role, you’ll oversee core logistics, inventory, purchasing, and reporting activities while working closely with teams across Operations, IT, Sales, and Customer Service. You’ll also play an active role in implementing a new fit-for-purpose supply management tool, helping shape the future of our supply chain capability.

If you’re organised, analytical, and ready to make an impact, this role offers the opportunity to step into a broad, busy, and rewarding remit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipping activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant dispatch and receipt of goods.
  • Optimise transportation routes with logistics partners to improve delivery times and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to support efficient storage, picking, packing, and order preparation.
  • Manage customs documentation and reporting in line with regulatory and company requirements.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain optimal stock levels aligned with operational and production requirements.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Set and refine reorder points using historical and seasonal data to prevent stockouts or overstocks.
  • Manage stock transfers between locations with accurate documentation and timely execution.

Customer Service

  • Process customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Own customer communications relating to orders, delivery timelines, and product availability.
  • Provide prompt, professional responses to enquiries and manage complaint resolution.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order information in internal systems.

Purchasing & Operations Support

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and support purchasing decisions as required.
  • Track and report on purchasing activities and negotiate local supplier arrangements (e.g., office supplies, accommodation).
  • Coordinate facilities requirements and act as the primary point of contact for the Tullamarine office.

Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Produce regular reports on inventory, purchasing, and logistics performance, offering insight and recommendations.
  • Partner with Sales and Production to forecast demand and align supply chain activities.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all activities meet regulatory, legal, corporate, trade, and animal welfare requirements.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training and adhere to WHS obligations to ensure a safe workplace.

What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in administration, operations, or warehousing (supply chain experience highly regarded).

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, TMS systems; experience with Power BI, MiniTab or Qlikview is a bonus.
  • Ability to interpret relevant laws, regulations, and policies in a supply chain context.

Capabilities

  • Results-driven with strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically when required.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Opportunity to influence the evolution of our supply chain practices.
  • A supportive team that values operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • A role with real variety — no two days are the same.

If you're ready to step into a role where your precision, initiative, and problem-solving ability will truly make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
