Role Purpose

As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring supplier quality performance supports reliable plant operations and high product standards. This position partners closely with suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders to solve quality issues, drive corrective actions, and improve processes that reduce risk and cost. You will use data, quality tools, and continuous improvement methods to strengthen supplier performance and support operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier quality improvement efforts, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and ongoing performance follow-up
  • Analyze quality issues using statistical methods and advanced quality tools to ensure product and process conformance
  • Conduct supplier audits, issue corrective actions, and verify implementation effectiveness to improve supplier performance
  • Monitor quality metrics, including cost of quality and nonconforming material levels, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
  • 4+ years of experience in a quality engineering or supplier quality role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and root cause analysis
  • Experience using advanced statistical and problem-solving tools, including Minitab, capability studies, MSA, and DOE
  • Proven experience conducting process and quality system audits and managing supplier corrective actions
  • Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
