Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Warehouse Operations
  • Establish, document, and enforce standard operating procedures for all adhesive-related activities: receiving, storage, kitting, loading and collection.
  • Ensure full traceability, FIFO, correct storage conditions, and MSDS compliance.
  • Monitor expiry, coordinate the safe disposal of expired materials. · Implement and maintain Camstar system management for all adhesives.
  • Manage Camstar, WMS, U8, Kanban and internal systems. · Resolve stock, process, and system issues. Feedback cross-functionally.
  • Coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality for timely material supply.
  • Maintain 5S, safety, cleanliness, and security; prevent damage or mixing. · Lead internal/external audits; ensure EHS compliance.
  1. Management and Improvements:
  • Track and report KPIs.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, transparency and accountability; reconcile with Finance.
  • Implement fool-proofing management to ensure adhesive quality.
  • Digitization of each process and Kanban management · Optimize shelf-life, dispensing and waste reduction.
  • Keep stock control systems real-time updated and ensure sure inventory accurately tallying with Finance’s figure.
  • Forecast warehouse workload; optimize space and equipment utilization.
  • Drive lean warehousing, automation, and cost reduction.
  • Manage slow-moving/aging stock; coordinate disposition with planning.
  • Lead improvement projects on time; update document for ISO/EHS.
  • Complete ad-hoc assignments.
  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Ensure adequate staffing, motivation, and employee engagement.
  • Recruit, select, and place the right people in the right roles.
  • Build a learning environment; train and develop the team.
  • Implement performance management with clear goals and timely feedback.
  • Maintain open two-way communication.
  • Drive zero accidents; enforce EHs policies; promote safety culture.
  • Comply with labour laws and company HR policies.
  1. Compliance:
  • Ensure the disposal of materials in compliance with an EPE.
  • Maintain the warehouse cameras in operation and report the problems in a timely manner.
  • Storage all the materials in the right places and warehouse’s functions.
  1. Others:
  • Cooperate with all related departments to support production.
  • Maintain positive, professional working relationships.
  • Ensure timely and clear internal communication

Education & Experience

  • More than 5years of working experience in warehouse management in manufacturing industry, with 3 years of team management experience, preferably with a background in chemicals and adhesives.
  • 5+ years of working experience in manufacturing company with 3+ years of indirect materials, chemicals, and gas is preferred.
  • Using Oracle ERP/WMS is preferred

Skills

  • Ability to work in high volume and pressure.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team in warehousing working environment is an advantage.
  • Good computing skills, preferably with Microsoft Office.
  • Work with a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competency.
  • Self-motivated with good time management and organization skills.
  • Good at English Communication & writing skills. Good at Mandarin communication.
  • In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics.
  • Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications

Working Conditions

  • Works in standard office/manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to a variety of compounds, solvents and chemicals.

Physical Requirements

  • Manage activities of warehouse division.
  • Contact with stakeholders to meet customers’ requirements
  • Manage the chemicals and gas from receiving to kitting.
  • Report quality high risk events to Manager
  • Report unsafe behaviours to supervisors.
  • Report to next managing levels when my supervisor does the wrong thing without the correction.
