Provides leadership to ensure the safe, timely and efficient completion of work efforts relating to the construction, operation, maintenance, and emergency restoration of the electric distribution systems. Ensures effective coordination among and between individuals and departments in the district/division. Actively promotes and enforces a safety-first work environment and positive safety culture. Engages and motivates employees to deliver the best possible customer experience.
At the Senior Supervisor level, in addition to the above, responsibilities include:
• Serves as the local technical lead or coach for other supervisors
• Develops and coaches other supervisors in various aspects of their role
• Authorizes re-allocation of resources in situations where conflicting priorities exist
• Drives innovation and change in business processes
• Leads area work center activities during manager absence
• Represents manager at department, customer, and community meetings
This senior supervisor will work as a part of the Project Group in Western Massachusetts. This group covers work across our entire Western MA territory and will require travel between areas. This role will be responsible for overseeing both internal crews, as well as external contract resources.
