Senior Study Manager

Sedgman is seeking an experienced Senior Study Manager to lead high value studies, proposals, and project development work that drive our strategic project pipeline. In this influential role, you will convert opportunities into commercially successful projects, strengthening client relationships, elevating technical excellence, and contributing directly to Sedgman’s growth.

What You’ll Do

Study & Project Leadership

• Deliver commercially successful studies on time, on budget, and aligned to business strategy.
• Craft high quality tenders, proposals, study reports, and business cases that combine technical rigour with commercial insight.
• Investigate and implement innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs.
• Develop and maintain study implementation plans, resource requirements, schedules, and multidisciplinary inputs.
• Ensure estimates, execution plans, and contracting models align with commercial expectations.
• Provide strategic technical input to support business development activities.
• Coordinate seamless handovers into engineering or project delivery phases.

Client & Relationship Management

• Build and sustain strong, professional relationships with client representatives.
• Cultivate new client links and regional opportunities to grow Sedgman’s footprint.
• Keep CRM (Salesforce) updated with client insights, opportunities, and feedback.

What You Bring:

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Process, Chemical, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) or equivalent technical degree.

Essential Experience

• 12+ years in design, project development, project delivery, or site operations in mineral processing.
• Minimum 3 years’ continuous experience as a Study Leader or Project Leader.
• Strong communication skills, clear, persuasive, and confident.
